Unique exhibition by the master Pieter de Hooch

A very unique exhibition will soon be set up at the Prinsenhof Museum in Delft. The master Pieter de Hooch is honored with no fewer than 29 of his masterpieces, which have come together again for the first time after 400 years from all over the world. A unique opportunity where you can see Delft from the point of view of one of the greatest masters.

Most important Delft master

Together with Johannes Vermeer, the painter Pieter de Hooch is internationally recognised as the most important Delft master of the Dutch Golden Age.

Delft in the 17th century

Delft is the main inspiration for Pieter de Hooch’s masterpieces. His paintings are known for depicting the atmosphere of life in Delft in the 17th century. You can feel and experience this time again thanks to the beautiful courtyards and interiors that he painted. Pieter de Hooch even raised the painting of courtyards to a new theme in painting.
